UNICAL Student gets Suspended for Smoking Marijuana on Campus
A 200-level student of the university of calabar has ben suspended by the management of the institution for smoking weed (marijuana) on campus. The 200-level student identified as Uzoagba Chinaemerem of the department of Physics, was caught smoking on 27th November, 2019 in Hall 4 of the institution’s Male Hostel.
It was gathered that the student will remain on suspension till the Students’ Disciplinary Committee concludes its investigation, as disclosed in a letter dated 17 January, 2020 and signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Zana Akpagu.
